VOLUNTEERS are being sought to man Upton's Pepperpot over the coming tourist season.
The landmark opens its doors to the public at the beginning of next month but the number of volunteers willing to meet and greet visitors has dwindled over the past few years.
Angela Lessimore, tourism manager at Malvern Hills District Council, urged anyone interested in staffing the heritage centre inside Upton's famous tower to contact the Tourist Information Centre.
"We rely on them to open from May right through to the end of September," she said. "Anyone that might be interested, we would be delighted to hear from them."
The Pepperpot will be open from Friday, May 2, and opening times will be 10.30am to 4.30pm. Upton Tourist Information Centre can be reached on 01684 594200.
A meeting for existing volunteers will be held at The Plough Inn, Upton, on Wednesday, April 30.
