COUNTRYSIDE homes are urgently being sought for two needy feral cats.
The cats, Jake and Peter, were taken to the RSPCA's Malvern and Worcester branch after their home, outhouses in Upton, were demolished.
Jake is black and longhaired while Peter is ginger and shorthaired. They are currently living in a cat pen together.
RSPCA spokesman Geraldine Haynes said: "They are not happy being penned in, but we have nowhere for them to be placed. They both originally came from the Upton area, but the lady who was feeding them died and the outbuildings where they lived have been demolished."
She said a quiet, rural home with outbuildings would be ideal for the cats.
"Ideally we would like them to be rehomed together," she said, "They are great mates. They are fit and healthy young boys, who have been neutered and vaccinated."
Anyone interested should call Pam Booker, branch secretary, on 01905 841354.
