ROADS in the Malvern area will be resurfaced over the next few months.

Worcestershire Highways Partnership has announced a £500,000 programme of road and pavement repairs.

In Malvern roads to be resurfaced include Pickersleigh Road, Poolbrook Road, Guarlford Road, Court Road and Stocks Lane in Newland.

Rectory Lane, School Lane and the Boynes in Upton, Link End Road in Eldersfield, and the B4211 at Hanley Castle are also earmarked for work.

Also due for resurfacing are the A438 west of Rye Cross, at Sledge Green and near the Mythe Bridge, the A4104 at Baughton, and the A44 between Dodenham and Sapey Bridge.

Pavements throughout Malvern are due for renewal, including Worcester Road at the Link Top shops, by the church in Malvern Link and by the Co-op.

Lower Howsell Road, Abbey Road, Blackmore Road, Cedar Road, Geraldine Close, Hornyold Road, Orford Way, Richmond Road, St James Road and Westward Road will also have new pavements.

Pavements in Earls Croome, Ryall Green and Welland will also be repaired.
