FORMER Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw and Jason Connery will be bearing all in a notorious erotic masterpiece at the Wolverhampton Grand.
The Blue Room caused a sensation when it opened in 1998 directed by Sam Mendes and staring Nicole Kidman. Based on Arthur Schnitzler's La Ronde, David Hare's play takes a jaded look at a world where a diverse selection of people, played by the two actors, meet, copulate and move on.
Since May 1995 Shaw played the role of Maxine Peacock in Coronation
Street before leaving the show in January to star in this production. Connery, son of legendary movie star Sean, starred in the 1980s TV series Robin Of Sherwood.
The Blue Room runs at the Wolverhampton Grand from Monday, April 28 to Saturday, May 3. Tickets from £5.50 to £19.50 on 01902 429212. Not suitable for under 16s.
