The usefulness of the clock on the tower of Great Malvern Station might be greatly increased if the GWR Company could see their way to light it at night. At present after dark it is impossible to distinguish the hands or the dial, and for all practical purposes the clock might as well be on top of the Beacon. At very little expense, the Company would confer a benefit not only on passengers, but on those residing in the vicinity. Malvern Gazette, April 17, 1903.

Malvern Gazette, April 20, 1978.

The Parochial Church Council says there is great concern that the church could be faced with further, very substantial repairs in the near future. The chief worry is the spire itself, where rainwater is leaking in. Ledbury Reporter, April 20, 1978.
