TICKETS are going fast for Michael Frayn's classic comedy Noises Off at Malvern Theatres.
Millions of people have seen this hilarious farce since its debut at the Savoy Theatre in 1982, where it ran for five years and won every major comedy award.
The comic romp offers two plays for the price of one. While the traditional farce Nothing On is being performed, a real-life farce is unfolding backstage during the show's final rehearsal and the ensuing disastrous tour.
Nothing On and Noises Off interlock as the actors make their way from one play to the other in a classic comedy confusion.
The National Theatre's acclaimed production, which became the biggest-selling play in the history of New York theatre, stars Cheryl Campbell, Paul Bradley, Philip Franks and Sylvester McCoy.
The play's closing night, on Saturday, May 3, is already a sell-out. Theatregoers are urged to hurry for the other nights - it opens on Monday, April 28. Tickets are available from the box office on 01684 892277.
