WHERE have all the anti-war protestors disappeared to? I bet they would have been dancing in the streets by now - how dearly they would have loved to have been proven right.
Not one of them really knew how the people of Iraq had been treated by Saddam Hussein.
Well, I hope the pictures on the TV stations showed them how wrong they were, although there are some, who wouldn't admit that even if Saddam himself walked up to them and shot them in the head.
I hope the schoolchildren who used the war as an excuse to take a few hours off their lessons ask their teachers to explain what really goes on in this not-so-no-nice world of ours.
When I was at school in the late 1940s we were told the truth and taught to think for ourselves. I think that is sadly lacking in our schools today.
