TOP spot is within grasp of Bromsgrove Rovers if they defeat second-placed Wednesfield in the Midland Alliance at The Victoria Ground tonight (7.45).
Rovers, who missed the chance to move clear at the weekend after a last minute Barwell equaliser, add Steve Frost and Shaun Derry to their squad.
Joint manager Gary Hackett admits he is glad the match with the Black Country outfit has come so quickly after Saturday's match against Barwell ended in disappointment.
"It was very frustrating to draw at Barwell because they had a really formidable home record and we played particularly well and were the better team," he said.
"It was a major disappointment to concede the goal so late but fortunately we can bounce back straight away and we've also got the carrot of being able to go top.
"We've got a 10-day break after that and it would be nice to go into that on top of the league."
