BROMSGROVE Rovers could have two new faces in their line-up for tomorrow's Dr Martens League Western Division game at Tiverton Town (3.00).
Manager Steve Daley has re-signed John Humphreys, who can play in defence or midfield, from Blakenall and hopes to tie up a deal for Pelsall Villa midfielder Paul Thompson.
Daley is also seeking to sharpen up his attack and has made seven-day approaches for two strikers -- Jon Hanson from Boldmere and Richard Swain from Stafford.
Defender Russell Dodd has left to join Evesham United, but defender Kevin Ashley is back from suspension and midfielder Paul Moore has recovered from injury. Teenage striker Patrick Bannister could make a first start up front.
However, striker Mark Benbow is out for a month with a broken toe and there are doubts over Matt Bytheway (knee) and Ryan Daley (calf).
Chief executive Pat Bannister is confident they can upset the Devon club. "Apparently they are very strong going forward but seem a little bit slow at the back. Hopefully we can damage them with a bit of pace up front."
Rovers (from): Gabbidon, Humphreys, Bowater, Winstone, Ulfig, Ashley, Bytheway, Moore, Cooper, Davies, Daley, Parkes, Bannister, Hunter, Jinks.
