BROMSGROVE Rovers put in their best performance of the season to win 3-0 at home to Sutton Coldfield Town in the Dr Martens League Western Division last night.
The words of manager George Rooney had an effect as an unchanged side looked like a different team with all parts functioning as one.
The impressive strike force of Scott Gennard and Richard Burgess worked effectively but Gennard and substitute Joe Beard caused more havoc when the latter replaced Burgess.
Greens took the lead when a Craig Poutney cross was headed home by Ulfig for his first of the season.
It was 2-0 a minute after the interval with a carbon copy of the opening goal, only with Michael Jameson the provider and Mark Benbow the finisher for his third of the season.
Rovers' third victory over Sutton this season was complete when Gennard's shot was fumbled by 'keeper Tony Rowe and Poutney tapped in the rebound.
