BROMSGROVE Rovers crashed to their third defeat in a row as they were beaten 3-1 by bottom side Racing Club Warwick.
The defeat was all the more galling as Rovers played some nice football throughout, but the squad's inexperience was again exposed by a visiting side smarting from a seven-goal reverse against Redditch United the previous weekend.
Manager George Rooney again had selection worries with five first team players missing through injury, youngsters Peter Frost and Richard Cameron coming in for first team debuts.
And captain Steve Ulfig had to start the game in goal with Nore Gabbidon not arriving on the scene until the eighth minute after being stuck in traffic.
By the time he arrived, Warwick had taken the lead when an unmarked Kim Green netted from 15 yards.
Rovers hit back midway through the first half when an Andy Biddle through ball found Richard Burgess who rounded keeper Carl Cooper but the celebrations were sut short 11 minutes later when Michael Callender headed a Justin Wiseman cross past Gabbidon.
Paul Bedder added to Warwick's tally in second half injury time, firing past Gabbidon from the edge of the box.
Rovers: Ulfig 6, S Frost 5, P Frost 6 (Gabbidon 8, 6), Townsend 7, Cameron 7, Turpin 6, Benbow 5, McWilliams 6, Sutton 6, Burgess 8, Biddle 7. Subs (not used): J Beard, M Beard.
