POTENTIALLY Bromsgrove Rovers' last competitive fixture at the Victoria Ground ended in a draw against visitors Weston-super-Mare.
The game opened at a quick pace with the first chance falling to the Seagulls on five minutes when Simon Tyler's header was cleared off the line by Graham Brown.
Peter Sutton saw a header go wide from Brown's cross before the centre forward scored the opening goal on 29 minutes.
A long clearance from Kevin Jinks found Sutton in space behind the visitors' defence and he hit a low shot into the net from 20 yards.
The lead lasted three minutes as Bromsgrove failed to clear a left-wing corner and Sean Wharton fired home from close range.
Rovers regained the lead on the stroke of half-time when Brown hit a low shot into the corner of the net after being picked out by Sutton on the edge of the area.
Weston were level seven minutes after the break when Lee Relish hit a speculative shot from 25 yards which swirled over Nore Gabbidon and into the net.
The home team saw a Quentin Townsend header disallowed for offside and the visitors were deprived a penalty when the assistant referee flagged for offside.
Rovers: Gabbidon, Ashley, Ulfig, Davies, Townsend, Jinks, Brown, Benbow, Sutton, Daley, Biddle. Subs: Winstone (73 for Biddle) Turpin (89 for Winstone). Attendance 443. Rovers MoM: Davies.
