PACEMAN Duncan Catterall is included in Worcestershire Royals squad for tomorrow's Norwich Union League Division One clash against Leicestershire Foxes at Oakham School.
He has been put on standby for his first appearance of the season because of a calf strain suffered by Stuart Lampitt during the County's Benson and Hedges Cup semi-final with Essex which ended in a crushing 138-run defeat at Chelmsford yesterday.
New Road Director of Cricket Tom Moody described it as a match in which 'everybody had a bad day at the office'.
He said: "We did not bowl or field to our usual standard and they got too many runs in conditions that should have favoured the bowling side.
"We just need to bounce back against Leicestershire and get it out of our system as quickly as possible."
Essex will now meet Warwickshire in the final at Lord's on Saturday, June 22.
The Bears beat Lancashire with a last ball boundary at Old Trafford yesterday.
Their win means Warwickshire's scheduled Norwich Union League visit to New Road on Sunday, June 23, will now be put back to Monday, June 24.
Yesterday, the County, facing a daunting victory target of 263, resumed on 26-4 and were finally removed for 124 in 33.4 overs.
Needing something touching on the miraculous to get to Lord's, wicketkeeper Steve Rhodes took up the challenge with some lusty blows in his 41.
