BROMSGROVE Rovers have made yet another addition to their squad ahead of tomorrow's Dr Martens League Western Division clash with Cirencester Town (3pm).
Wesley Meacham, a 17-year-old left-sided player released by Aston Villa, could be in line for his debut while they are also talking with Jamie Ince, a 20-year-old midfielder freed by West Bromwich Albion.
A further boost for Rovers in their fight against the drop is that skipper Quentin Townsend has opted to stay put despite an approach by Redditch United.
Striker Dean Wright and defender Matt Beard both return after missing last week's FA Trophy defeat at Worksop.
Front man Richard Burgess should also play after training with Port Vale this week, but Craig Pountney and Marcus McDonald have been released.
Youth team player Michael Wright will get another chance after doing a sterling job marking Chris Waddle last week.
Chief executive Pat Bannister is backing the players to bounce back from the heartbreak of their last-minute loss at Worksop. "At the end of the day the boys were disappointed but it is important they carry through the same commitment into the league now.
"We have to prove our character. The boys have moved up a gear in the Trophy but we need to do it in the league now."
