MANAGER George Rooney has moved to bolster his Bromsgrove Rovers squad ahead of tomorrow's Dr Martens League Western Division trip to Weston-super-Mare (3pm).
He has signed striker Craig Pountney from Moor Green, and he is expected to come straight into a side that went down 3-1 at home to lowly Racing Club Warwick in midweek.
Rooney said: "He is a quick little player and a very good friend of Peter Sutton -- we are very grateful to Moor Green for letting us have him."
Rooney, who is without injured midfielder Marc Burrow, says his players will be unaffected by the club's ongoing takeover battle. "It has been well documented that the club has problems but we have to get on with the playing side."
Rovers (from): Gabbidon, Ulfig, S. Frost, P. Frost, Townsend, Cameron, Turpin, Benbow, McWilliams, Sutton, Burgess, Biddle, Pountney, Broadhurst, J. Beard, M. Beard.
