ALAN Webb has joined the staff at Bromsgrove Rovers.
Webb, who has been involved with several Midlands clubs, will act as a scout for the club, having also worked with manager George Rooney at his previous club Worcester City.
Rooney said: "I can't pay him or anything but he talks very well, gets around a bit and watches a lot of games. He will be covering players for me."
Rooney plans to talk to several potential new signings this week, having already snapped up former Worcester players Marc Burrow and Steve Frost.
Rovers begin their build-up to the Dr Martens League Western Division season at Fairfield Villa on Saturday.
