BATSMAN Ben Smith is Worcestershire Supporters Association's Player of the Year.
The 30-year-old has had an outstanding campaign for the County following his close-season move from Leicestershire.
As well as his impressive exploits in limited-over competitions, Smith piled up 1,202 first-class runs at an average of 44.51. In 28 Championship Division Two innings he notched 1,060 runs.
He received a cheque for £300 from Association chairman Ken Mills.
The Don Kenyon award for the best individual performance in a first-class game went to Australian paceman Andy Bichel.
He claimed a career-best 9-93 in the Frizzell County Championship Division Two match against Glou-cestershire at New Road.
