AUSTRALIAN newcomer Shane Lee will make his Frizzell County Championship Division Two debut for promotion-chasing Worcestershire when they open their match against Nottinghamshire at Kidderminster's Chester Road ground tomorrow.
The all-rounder's inclusion is one of two changes the County are expected to make from the side which won their last Championship match by eight wickets against Northamptonshire at New Road.
Lee is set to replace David Leatherdale while Stephen Peters, who scored a half century in the rain-ruined draw with India, is poised to take over from opener Philip Weston.
Because of today's floodlit match against Notts at New Road the times for play on the opening two days at Kidderminster have been changed. Tomorrow's play will get under way at 12noon and finish at 7pm. The start time on Friday will be at 11am, finishing at 7pm.
Worcs: Peters, Singh, Hick, Smith, Solanki, Lee, Batty, Rhodes, Kabir Ali, Mason, Sheriyar.
Meanwhile, Worcestershire were boosted by a 165-run stand for the sixth wicket between James Pipe (93) and Alex French (77) on the opening day of their Second Eleven Championship match against Warwickshire at Stratford-upon-Avon.
At the close last night Warwickshire were 59-2 in reply.
