A MOTORBIKE was taken away and scrapped by Redditch police, who warned that they would do the same again with bikes being ridden recklessly around town woods.
For the first time last week, police used new powers when a motorbike, which was being ridden in an anti-social manner in Batchley, was taken away and scrapped.
The move came as part of a crackdown launched in an attempt to stamp out the problem, which has prompted many complaints.
Pc White is appealing for people to come forward with information of times, dates, places and descriptions of youngsters seen riding motorbikes in a dangerous manner.
Anyone with information can call Pc White on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
