I've driven 50,000 miles a year on UK roads all over the country but I have yet to see a system that compares with the new Redditch island layouts.
What is the point in having dual carriageways if you restrict them to single carriageways?
The new island at Sainsbury's and others are confusing.
They force drivers into single lanes when they are expecting a dual carriageway.
I have almost been hit twice already and witnessed one accident and several near misses.
It's not only the confusion caused by these traffic arrangements but what about the costs?
