REDDITCH rider Andy Burbidge had another eventful weekend as his learning curve in the MRO series continued with another two crashes.
Burbidge warmed up for the points race with two 11th place finishes in the club rounds but came unstuck in a rain-sodden qualifying session for the main event at Oulton Park.
With only 15 mins to achieve the qualifying times, Burbidge squeezed in to start 34th on a 36 bike grid.
After a poor start Burbidge was tailing the field but climbed to 19th on his first lap before going on to 14th and 12th on consecutive circuits.
But with the Winyates Green rider forced to contest the dry race on intermediate tyres after being let down by a supplier, he slipped back and crashed out again on the last lap.
Another quick remount saw Burbidge home a respectable 19th.
The Redditch speedster returns to the track at Cadwell Park in three weeks.
