About three years ago, I congratulated the population of Redditch, in being recognised by the supermarkets and other purveyors of petrol and diesel in Redditch, as being amongst the richest people in the whole of the UK.
Well, congratulations are in order again. The 'Cartel' has once again given us that singular honour and furthermore in my travels, I am happy to be able to report that our prices are the first to rise and the last to reduce.
What an accolade to our spending power. For any less rich people who may live in Redditch, I would recommend you travel to far-off Hockley Heath, Knowle and other places where the poor are in residence and where you can buy your fuel at prices which mirror most of the rest of the country.
Just a reminder for the Cartel, 2p per litre less is the going rate.
