MAY I, through your columns, express my heartfelt thanks to all those people who kindly sponsored me recently in a 15-mile walk to raise much-needed funds for the Medical Foundation?
The Medical Foundation, which was founded in 1986, aims to provide medical, emotional and practical help to survivors of torture or of organised violence.
It trains doctors, psychologists, therapists and other professionals to work with, and provide support for, torture survivors and aims to educate the public about torture and its consequences.
The concern and generosity of those people who sponsored me enabled me to raise the sum of £500 and I'm very grateful to them.
