Worcester City have clinched the title in the newly-formed Kidderminster Ladies' Football League.
In front of a crowd of nearly 200 supporters they beat Bredon 7-1 in their final league match at St George's Lane.
City went out putting on pressure but had to wait until the 35th minute for captain Hazel Adams to strike a 35 yard cracker into the top corner of the net.
The Bredon 'keeper managed to keep City at bay for the rest of the first half after further attacks.
But a motivating team talk from player-manager Vicky Andrews during the interval dispelled any further City nerves.
In the second half City dominated, and a cross from Debbie Band saw a Bredon defender head the ball into her own net to open the floodgates.
Band scored twice more to complete a hat-trick and Clare Jones, Emma Richardson, Beth Ghalamkary netted one each.
Bredon managed to score a consolation goal towards the end.
It was an excellent performance from City and a delighted Andrews said: "With this being our first seaon, my basic aim was to ensure that we didn't finish bottom of the table. By winning the league we have exceeded everybody's expections."
Our thanks go to Bob Marley and Worcester City for arranging Sunday's match at St. Georges Lane and all the supporters who turned out to watch.
City will hope to complete a double when they play Burlish Olympic in the final of the League Knockout Cup at Stourport Swifts FC on Sunday, May 4 (2.30pm).
The Subsidiary Cup final sees Burlish take on Malvern at Malvern Town FC on Tuesday, April 29 (7.30).
