TALENTED young footballers have shown what they are capable of after guaranteeing themselves a top two league finish in their first ever season.
Bromsgrove Town U7s are currently top of the Central Warwickshire League but have finished their games and close rivals Holy Name have games in hand.
It has been a remarkable season for the team. In 20 games they have scored an incredible 123 goals, 55 of them from top sorer Ben Markall, and conceded just 25. Their goalscoring prowess was demonstrated when they demolished Smithswood 23-1 in January.
Richard Arnold's side, who kept five clean sheets on the bounce to finish the season, has 16 victories to their name with only two draws and defeats.
Holy Name also despatched Town from the league shield and cup at the first round and last eight stage respectively.
