A NORTH-country comedy will have residents in Rubery rolling in the aisles when a show opens next month.
The Rubery Drama Group is staging a production of When We Are Married, by JB Priestly at the Beacon Church Centre.
The hilarious farce is set in the early 1900s and involves three couples celebrating their silver wedding anniversaries, when they discover their marriages are not legitimate.
A popular production among both professional and amateur dramatic groups, this is the second time round for the Rubery club who staged it in the late 70s.
This time it is being directed by Bob Sawyer.
The Whetty Lane hall production will run from Thursday, May 1 to Saturday, May 3. Doors open at 7pm and the show kicks off at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from David Morris on 0121 453 8733 or Bob Sawyer on 0121 445 2323.
