THIS Saturday sees the start of this year's Bromsgrove Festival and there is a wide range of events to tempt all townsfolk out of their homes.
This week's events include:
Saturday, April 26
l Bromsgrove's Rio style Samba band, Someone at the Door, will by playing in the High Street from 11am to 12.30pm. *
l Bromsgrove Art Exhibition starts and runs until Saturday, May 10 at the All Saints Church Hall, in Burcot Lane, between 10am and 4pm. Admission is free. *
l A Night in Vienna at the Spadesbourne Suite, in Burcot Lane, starting at 7.45pm.
It will be a musical extravaganza narrated by BBC Radio Two DJ David Jacobs.
Monday, April 28
l The Band of the Irish Guards at Bromsgrove Rovers' Victoria Ground, in Birmingham Road, starting at 7.15pm. This event is free and visitors are asked to bring folding chairs or rugs.
Tuesday, April 29
l The New Guesten Hall will stage a performance from piano duo Fiona and John York, starting at 7.45pm.
