EVEN bigger and better than last year -- that's the message from the organisers of Fishing 2003, the UK's biggest indoor angling exhibition.
This year's event, which takes place this weekend at the NAC Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire (off the A46 between Warwick and Coventry) Saturday and Sunday, April 26/27.
There will be the unrivalled opportunity for visitors to see, try, and buy, a fantastic range of fishing tackle, equipment and accessories from the country's top retailers.
"The fact that every exhibitor can sell their products, rather than just a chosen few, has obviously struck the right chord," says show organiser Greg Wimbourne. "And that's good for for the public...because they want to buy! "
Celebrities at Fishing 2003 include 'Carp King' Terry Hearn, former world coarse angling champions Bob Nudd and Ian Heaps, who as well as answering questions on the Celebrity Stand, will be pitting their wits against each other in a Head-to-Head Challenge on the Carp Lake.
Jan Porter, the ' Man in Red ', will be hosting casting demonstrations and competitions where visitors will be able to compete for great prizes on each day, both of which will end with a Celebrity Challenge featuring the stars at the show.
Admission: Adults £10 (at the door) including a free show catalogue.
Children under 14 are admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
Car Parking is free, as is a shuttle bus service to and from the exhibition hall and outside activities.
Tickets also provide entry to the adjacent Shooting 2003 exhibition.
Even better news is your Advertiser/Messenger teaming up with the show's organisers to provide readers with the opportunity to get their hands on 50 free tickets for the show, and you don't even need to enter a competition to win.
There's no catch with this offer, apart from the one at the show, as all you need to do is to call into our offices in either Bromsgrove or Droitwich by Friday to pick up a free ticket.
These tickets are provided on a first-come, first-served basis only.
Our offices are open from 9am to 5pm today, tomorrow and on Friday if you want to call in and claim a ticket for the show -- the Fishing 2003 Angling Exhibition, which is being held this weekend at the NAC, Stoneleigh.
