THERE'S a chance to enjoy a special musical event this summer when a Symphony On Safari is staged at the West Midlands Safari Park, near Bewdley.
It will be the park's first open air concert and will be held on June 8 to celebrate their 30th birthday.
Music on the night will be provided by the Wyre Forest Symphony Orchestra and will include popular classics, film music and The Proms and a grand finale firework display - all of which will provide plenty of opportunity for audience participation,
Tickets are limited and must be bought in advance. They cost £1 adults and £5 for children under 16. The ticket hotline is 01299 400700.
Proceeds from the evening will be going to the Acorns Trust, which is currently in the process of building a new children's hospice on the outskirts of Worcester, which will eventually serve the county and the neighbouring counties of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
