A NURSE who drove her car onto railway tracks and waited to be hit by a train died of multiple injuries, a coroner has heard.
A report from Dr Terry Jones told Worcestershire County Coroners' Court that Susan Smith had died at the scene of the collision.
The 45-year-old from Hadzor Lane, in Hadzor, drove onto the level crossing at Dunhampstead on Monday April 7 and waited for a train to come. She had to be identified by her fingerprints.
The inquest opened last Tuesday and was adjourned for a date yet to be fixed.
