KICKER Colin Smith was easily the top scorer for Cleobury Mortimer by amassing 128 point. He landed 24 penalties and 23 conversion and also touched down on two occasions.
Willie Bache notched fifty points, with eight tries, a penalty and a conversion. Third was James Allen with 45 points from nine tries and four players were fourth with 30 points - Paul Hulland, Ian King and Colin Todd with six tries, and Allan Shields with five tries, a conversion and a penalty.
Cleobury finished fourth in the North Midlands 2 League, having played 20, won 12, drew 1, lost 7, with 388 points for and 277 against.
The second XV played eight, won two, lost six, with180 points for and 243 against.
Whatever the result of the first team's last game against Upton-on-Severn, Cleobury were destined to finish in fourth place. However, there was a determination to finish the league campaign on a high note and with an almost full squad to choose from hopes were high. But opponents Woodrush had other ideas and ran out 27-13 win ners.
Club training continues on Monday and Wednesdays at 7pm and all players are urged to attend
