A 'TURNING of the sod' ceremony yesterday marked the start of a project to provide a much-needed community hall in Tardebigge.
The new hall will be built on land behind St Bartholomew's Church hall, close to the church itself and next to Tardebigge First School, and will provide a venue for local groups and clubs.
The hall, which will incorporate a committee room, large kitchen, storage and toilets, will offer facilities for disabled users and is due for completion in October.
It has been designed by Redditch-based architects BLB.
