A 75-year-old woman had her handbag stolen from the front seat of her car just after she arrived back to her Hollywood home.
The woman had visited the post office and returned to her house in Alcester Road at about 2.30pm on Monday, April 7.
As the woman got out of her car, a man pulled up in a small silver hatchback car and parked at the bottom of her drive.
He asked the woman for some water and she told him to go away. He then jumped over the fence to her garden opened the passenger door of her car and grabbed her handbag.
The man, together with another person who was in the car, then drove off towards the Maypole island. The man was white, about 6ft tall and aged in his early 20's.
He was slim with short light brown hair and was wearing a light cream jumper and dark blue tracksuit trousers.
The woman's bag contained £180 cash and personal items.
