ATHLETICS: Brian Humphries continues to lead Amazing Feet Running Club's race league after finishing 42nd in the final Massey Ferguson Easter five-mile road race in Coventry.
Humphries clocked 29 minutes 47 seconds among a field of 220 runners over a fast and fairly flat rural course on a cold, windy morning.
John Amos ran 30-27 for 55th place, Gerald Sanders 35-07 for 129th, Richard Baker 38-20 for 161st and Lindsay Pulley 39-23 for 168th.
Humphries, Sanders and Pulley all maintained their 100 per cent attendance record after four events of the club race league.
Sanders, who completed the London Marathon in four hours 17-20 for 11,827th position, and Pulley are second and third respectively, while Amos is now fourth and Baker sixth.
