Scott joined Harriers on a non-contract basis in late January and made a solid Football League full debut against Bournemouth in defence.
The former Walsall player has not had much luck this season with a shoulder injury meaning he made no appearances for new club Mansfield Town this season.
Scott, who played four games for Walsall with two starts in the LDV Trophy after impressing in their youth team, was then released by Mansfield's new manager Keith Curle.
He also had a loan spell at Boston United last season, scoring one goal in seven games during their Conference-winning campaign.
