I am happy to stand at this election, for Areley Kings and Dr Richard Taylor's hospital campaign.
It is time we had a fresh, independent, voice for Areley Kings, to get away from sterile party politics in local government.
We should make all decisions based on sound common sense, not any party squabbling. I will do just that.
My record in our community is sound, for I chaired the committee which raised the funds to build the present Scout hut on the recreation ground, and I played a major role in establishing a renal dialysis unit at Kidderminster Hospital.
Having recently retired from full-time involvement at the garage, I now have the time and energy to serve our ward's interests on the district council.
With your help I shall seek to improve services and make sure that we get value for money from our Council Tax.
I shall respond to all ward matters referred to me by residents.
