Chris has had the privilege of representing Cookley on the district council for the past 12 years.
Chris, who lives in the village, is chairman of governors at Cookley School.
He is involved in many local organisations, including the patients participation group at Cookley surgery, Sebright Educational Trust and Wolverley charities.
He also organises the senior citizens' Christmas party.
Chris has actively promoted the interests of the village and has fought several issues including protecting the green belt and keeping Caunsall within Cookley in the recent local government review.
He believes in public involvement and has organised and participated in public meetings on a variety of issues, including health, education and planning.
Chris has been chairman of both the parish and district councils and takes local government very seriously.
He would be honoured if he was given the opportunity to represent Cookley for a further term of office.
