THE Stourport Town Council budget news announces that £1,400 will be spent on improving safety surfaces on the Memorial Park. What joyful news.
Does that mean that after over 50 years The Ridgeway entrance to the park will have a real pathway, instead of an uneven track, which is used daily by many people from the Lickhill and north side of town, and which is often muddy and over the years has resulted in accidental injuries?
Perhaps town councillors are listening at last.
