I am a former Wyre Forest district councillor and have had the privilege of being Mayor of Stourport.
I have lived and worked in the town for 44 years and am proud to be selected again as a candidate for the forthcoming district and town council elections.
Having been chairman of governors at a local school for many years, I am greatly concerned about the substantial under-funding of education in Worcestershire, which is listed 33rd out of 34 shire councils in terms of Government funding.
I certainly intend to add my voice to the protests against Government policy.
If elected, I will also fight for the construction of Stourport's much- needed relief road to rid ourselves of the daily traffic gridlock.
I ask you to vote for me knowing that I will keep the issues of Stourport, especially those affecting the residents of Lickhill, at the forefront of my responsibilities.
