Nigel Addison is a well known local figure, having been born in Wolverley and spending most of his life in the area.
He has served on many local committees and has a wealth of knowledge of the local area.
During one of his periods away from the village, he served as a parish and district councillor in Fernhill Heath, so also brings a wealth of experience in the operation of local democracy.
"I feel that villages like Wolverley are far too easily forgotten by local authorities," says Nigel.
"I hope that if elected, I will do all I can to fight for more support for Wolverley and other rural wards on the district council.
"My slogan? Wolverley matters - and so does it's people."
