TICKETS are still available for the Bewdley mayor's charity event on Saturday which will feature a taste of August's beer festival.
"Gig and Glug" hits St George's Hall complete with real ales supplied by the beer festival's organisers and Bewdley band Tom the Frop - which includes town councillor Max Keen - playing 60s and 70s music.
The bash will raise money for outgoing mayor Frank Baillie's chosen charities, Cancer Research UK and Bewdley Scouts.
He hopes to attract up to 180 party-goers.
And Mr Baillie is aiming to make £1,000 for Cancer Research UK with a 60th birthday dinner and disco for the mayoress, Mavis Baillie, at the Ramada Hotel on May 5.
For details contact Mr Baillie on 01299 403399.
