SPORTING folk from the Spa have made generous donations to ensure people with learning disabilities have an 'egg-cellent' Easter.
Kingfields Day Centre, in Ledwych Road, hosted a spring fair last Wednesday and Droitwich Sports and Leisure Centre staff paid a visit to give out chocolate eggs to sweet-toothed users.
A partnership struck up between the two organisations is proving a success and many Kingfields staff and members enjoy energetic activities at the Briar Mill sport centre.
It has been adapted to accommodate the needs of disabled residents and manager Tim Kirkham praised the generosity of gym members who donated eggs.
Kingfields acting manager Sandra Hibbert echoed his comments and said: "Working with other organisations is exactly what we want to do to help people with learning disabilities live full and independent lives."
