A BID is being made to re-establish exchange arrange-ments between Pershore High School and its opposite number in Plouay, France.
A party of 48 students and four staff from the College Saint-Ouen in Plouay visited the Pershore area from April 6 to12 as part of a visit organised by the Pershore Town Twinning Association.
Headteacher at Pershore High School Clive Corbett said: "This was the highly encouraging first stage in our efforts to re-establish exchange arrangements between Pershore High School and College Saint-Ouen."
He added: "I very much hope to see our students making a visit to France later in the year."
During their visit, the French students went for a walk on the Malvern Hills, visited Gloucester Cathedral and docks, Bourton-on-the-Water, Bromsgrove's Avoncroft Museum, Abbey Park Middle School, Pershore Abbey West Midlands Safari Park at Bewdley and the Black Country Museum, Dudley. They also fitted in visits to Pershore Leisure Centre for swimming sessions and played football at Pershore Football Club.
