A THEATRE group is paying tribute to its biggest fan who died last year.
The Once Removed Theatre Company will stage its annual visit to the Rose Theatre, Kidderminster, in memory of friend and supporter Pat Hayhurst.
Mrs Hayhurst died of cancer and group member Kath Morton said it was only fitting the company should remember her with its next production.
On a Night Like This, a comedy, was written by John Godber, one of Mrs Hayhurst's favourite playwrights. It will run at the Rose from May 1-3.
Mrs Morton said: "We will be collecting money for Cancer Research UK at the performance.
"Pat came to see us every year and was always so enthusiastic about whatever we did. She was a very bubbly person who gave us a great deal of confidence."
Tickets are available by calling the theatre on 01562 743745.
l Ready to order: Rob Carcatema, Vicky Wakeman and Jenny Knight are pictured in in character to star in On a Night Like This.
