ON Monday, the annual general meeting of the Colwall Village Society will be held at the village hall at 7.30pm.
The annual parish meeting is on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the village hall. This will be followed by the presentation and launch of Colwall parish plan. Tea and coffee will be available.
Sixty six people enjoyed a Passover supper in the Ale House last Thursday evening. The Rector, Carl Attwood, explained the meaning of the various foods and why they are eaten at the Passover. The evening concluded with the breaking of Matzo wafers and drinking of red wine. This was followed by the start of the annual all night vigil in the church.
The Rotary Cub of Colwall is presenting a village games night on Friday, May 2 in the village hall. There will be an indoor decathlon, stalls and games with a free buffet and hot and cold drinks available to buy. Tickets are £5 adult and £3 child, if paid for during April. £2 extra in May. An organ recital by Peter Dyke of Hereford Cathedral will take place on Monday, May 5 at 7pm in St James Church, Colwall. Tickets are £6 including wine and nibbles. Tickets available from John Goodwin Estate Agents and Phil Probert on (01684) 540506.
