ST Anne's Church in Oxenhall was beautifully decorated with spring flowers including Easter lilies for the service of holy communion conducted by the Rector, the Rev Patricia Phillips on Easter Day. It was good to welcome back Linda Schofield to accompany the Easter hymns. Bible readers were Eifion Rees and Richard Elgie. Sidesman duties were carried out by Elizabeth James and Kath Rees. Next Sunday, the service at St Anne's is parish communion at 9.30am to be conducted by the Rev Vi Chester. All are welcome to this lovely church. It is good to be able to report that the new path from the car park steps to the vestry has been started and the archaeological dig is completed. The new path will be a great help to worshippers and to visitors as well. In a small community such as Oxenhall it is a credit to them to have these improvements.
