AS a comparative newcomer (1978) to the delightful old medieval town of Ledbury, I feel quite devastated at the proposed alterations and desecration of our historic town hall.
While appreciating the advent of new laws covering the disabled, I question as to how many of the latter desire to attain the heights of that dreary upper room? How many such disabled meet to be consulted?
There appears to be many alternatives for council meetings. We have a thriving Community Centre and several other possible venues. I appeal to our 'new' council ... Please no outside staircase.
What price tourism!
