CHARITY fundraiser Reg Box is poised to bring the total he has raised for the County Air Ambulance over the past few years to £40,000.
The octogenarian bingo caller, from Malvern, will present a cheque for £5,000 to a representative from the charity at an event in Malvern Town Football Club tonight (Friday).
Mr Box has raised the cash from sales and bingo evenings at 7.30pm every Friday and Sunday at the Langlands Avenue club.
The Air Ambulance's area co-ordinator, Charlie Knight, who will accept the cheque, said they relied on donations to keep the service going.
The money will go towards the Fight For Life Fund and will help pay for the upkeep of the helicopter.
"We appreciate every penny he makes for us," said Mr Knight.
