St George's Day was marked with a large parade through the centre of Malvern, 25 years ago.
More than 500 Scouts, Cubs and Venture Scouts marched through the town, led by the band of the Upton Scout Group. The Gazette quoted Scout president Ralph Storer, who said he thought it was the best attended parade for many years.
