Kidderminster Harriers finally waved goodbye to their play-off dreams after a terrible defensive collapse at Hull.
They conceded four goals for the first time in Division Three this season but the kind of mistakes that gave them away have been common place.
Harriers dominated a great deal of the second half and pulled a goal back through Sean Parrish's volley on the hour.
But they gifted Hull the points by conceding a 6th minute penalty which was tucked away by Ben Burgess.
He added another on 38 minutes after a Dion Scott mistake and completed his hat-trick two minutes from time.
Jon Walters got the other goal for Hull on 80 minutes following lax defending from Craig Hinton.
Boss Ian Britton's main summer task will be to build the defence that will not let Harriers down next season as they have done this.
